The valley is turning green and we are patiently waiting the return of summer here in Steamboat Springs. There has been some good signs that the real estate market is working its way back. In our local market, closed transactions were up in March slightly compared to the month before. More units are currently under contract as compared to the beginning of 2009. As we head into our summer selling season, there are some great deals to be had. Nationally, markets hard hit by foreclosure are starting to see some signs of purchase which is a good sign for everyone across the country.
